Plan news Trustee

Do you have what it takes to be an MNTD?

The Trustee Board of the pension Plan is made up of eight Trustee Directors, who are ultimately responsible for ensuring that the correct benefits are paid to its members.

Legislation requires that at least a third of the Board be made up of members of the Plan, and should be nominated by the membership – these Trustees are what’s known as ‘Member Nominated Trustee Directors’ (MNTDs).

From 1 November 2022 there will be three vacancies on the Board, when the term of office for the existing MNTDs expires. Although the existing MNTDs will be applying for re-selection, you have the opportunity to put yourself forward for one of the roles.
